Bio
Fung (b. 1981, Kowloon, Hong Kong) currently resides in Toronto, Canada. She holds a MA in English Literature and Film Studies from the University of Alberta with a focus on Deleuzian film theory and 20th century poetics and creative non fiction. As of 2014, Fung has been appointed Artistic Director for Images Festival.
Her research interests usually involve ongoing considerations of identity politics, social engagement, and a sense of place. Her commissioned writings for monographs approach arts writing as a creative and critical platform. Her published writings and exhibitions and events have taken place throughout Europe, North America, and the UK. This is one of her primary online forums. This is another one.
